Our story begins back in 2021 when we met up for our very first date at the Philadelphia Art Museum. Looking back on that first meeting, Matt remembers being surprised and intrigued that Andy was the one who asked him out—he thought she was cute-, and remembers having a lot of fun together from the start. Andy thought it was sweet that Matt wore an ice hockey shirt to that date, knowing this was an interest of hers. She appreciated that he had agreed to meet up while she was giving her friend Elisa a tour of the city. We met up again soon, and we realized quickly that we were falling in love.

Since the beginning, we were ready and willing to put the time and energy into making this relationship work. Whether it was finding time to see each other amid the conflicts of school and work, or staying connected despite long distance, we were all in.

Over the years, Andy and Matt have built a relationship upon their shared values— Respect, kindness, loyalty, honesty, and trust. They value determination and perseverance to achieve their goals and to provide for one another and want to live with empathy, patience, and compassion.

As they have grown in their love, they have come to define what the love they share means to them.

They shared that their love is: everlasting and absolute and unconditional, authentic, patient, persistent, and kind, it is bigger than any of the obstacles they have faced, their love is resilient and strong, and it keeps getting better every single day.

Nuestra historia comienza en 2021, cuando tuvimos nuestra primera cita en el Museo de Arte de Filadelfia. Al recordar ese primer encuentro, Matt recuerda haberse sorprendido e intrigado de que Andy fuera quien lo invitó a salir (pensó que ella era linda) y recuerda que se divirtieron mucho juntos desde el principio. Andy pensó que era lindo que Matt usó una camiseta de hockey sobre hielo hasta esa fecha, sabiendo que era de su interés. Apreció que él hubiera aceptado reunirse mientras ella le daba a su amiga Elisa un recorrido por la ciudad. Nos volvimos a encontrar pronto y rápidamente nos dimos cuenta de que nos estábamos enamorando.

Desde el principio, estábamos listos y dispuestos a dedicar tiempo y energía para que esta relación funcionara. Ya fuera encontrar tiempo para vernos en medio de los conflictos de la universidad y el trabajo, o mantenernos conectados a pesar de la larga distancia, siempre estuvimos dispuestos a darlo todo.

A lo largo de los años, Andy y Matt han construido una relación basada en sus valores compartidos: respeto, amabilidad, lealtad, honestidad y confianza. Valoran la determinación y la perseverancia para lograr sus objetivos y mantenerse unos a otros y quieren vivir con empatía, paciencia y compasión.

A medida que crecieron en su amor, llegaron a definir lo que significa para ellos el amor que comparten.

Compartieron que su amor es: eterno, absoluto e incondicional, auténtico, paciente, persistente y amable, es más grande que cualquiera de los obstáculos que han enfrentado, su amor es resistente y fuerte, y sigue mejorando cada día.
